Delegating And The New Year

I glanced at my calendar this morning and immediately saw that Christmas is 2 weeks from today. One step further, 2010 is 3 weeks away. There was a time in my life when I would make this connection and immediately start to stress about everything that IS NOT complete in my life. Uncompleted shopping, uncompleted business goals, baby weight (and then some ;)) still not lost… The old me would have already ruined her day by 5:45am.

I don’t feel that way anymore. Is it because I care less? No way. I think I care more. Here’s the big difference: I have stopped shouldering the responsibility for personally handling everything in my life. Make no mistake, ask anyone that works with me and they will tell you: that lady knows everything that’s going on. But am I standing in lines at the mall anymore? Trying to work out my business plans and goals by myself anymore? Marketing my business all on my own anymore? No way.

As much as I LOVE having total control, I love myself and my life more now that I have relinquished control and I allow others to do what they do best.

In 21 days we will step into a new year. New. Nothing put possibility will lay in front of you.
