Yesterday I was explaining my journey from not understanding Twitter to “getting it” and thriving using this social networking option (thank you Debbye Cannon of Biz Mom Mentor for your Smart Cuts on this matter!). My summary was this: consistancy is crucial in making Twitter work for you / your business.
What I realized when reviewing my “blurb” was that consistancy is actually the key to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that we set out to do in business (and in life!). If you send out one postcard or one ezine or one Twitter post per 3 months (that used to be me!) to market your business, guess what your success rate will be? Somewhere between 0-1%. More likely 0%, but I’ll throw 1% in there for the fluke factor!
Consistency in running your business is key. Just like you must pay your cell phone balance every month, you must also market, strategize, send out your bills, schedule yourself and more every month.
Identify everything in your business that you put on the back burner for even a day longer than you should. That’s where delegation needs to begin. Your assistant can take on those important tasks and handle them on a consistent basis.
Make this shift in how you run your business and get ready for some exciting results!
